One of the things I value most about this community is hearing directly from members about what they want more of in their training. Member feedback plays an important role in what I create, and my latest program is a direct result of those conversations. In a recent survey members asked for more variety, structure, more strength training, and quick effective workouts that fit realistically into your week. So I took those requests and built them into a program that delivers all of the above without sacrificing quality or thoughtful programming.

Traditional strength programs often focus on lifting heavier with plenty of rest between sets. Cardio programs improve endurance but can leave you feeling like you're sacrificing strength and muscle. The truth is, your body benefits from both.

That's exactly why I created Construct.

What is Construct?

Construct is an at home training program that combines strategic strength training with metabolic conditioning to help you build lean muscle, improve cardiovascular fitness, increase work capacity, and move through everyday life feeling stronger and more capable. It is built around a simple but highly effective weekly schedule. Here's what a typical week looks like in the program:

Monday: Upper Body Strength
Tuesday: Full Body MetCon
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Lower Body Strength
Friday: Full Body MetCon
Weekend: Rest

Each workout is approximately 40-45 minutes, including warm up and cool down, making it realistic to fit into a busy schedule while still providing enough training volume to produce meaningful results.

Rather than trying to do everything in every workout, each session has a clear purpose. Strength days focus on building muscle and improving force production. Conditioning days challenge your cardiovascular system while reinforcing functional movement patterns through compound exercises that train multiple muscle groups at once.

Together, they create a balanced approach that delivers more than either style of training could on its own.

Why combine strength and conditioning?

Your body doesn't separate fitness into neat little categories.

Whether you're carrying groceries, hiking with friends, chasing after kids, or simply climbing a flight of stairs, you're constantly using strength, endurance, coordination, and stamina together.

Construct is designed to train your body the same way.

By alternating dedicated strength sessions with metabolic conditioning workouts, you'll improve multiple aspects of fitness simultaneously without spending hours in the gym.

Over the course of eight weeks, you'll develop:

  • Greater overall strength
  • Improved muscular endurance
  • Better cardiovascular fitness
  • Increased work capacity
  • Enhanced athleticism and movement quality
  • Lean muscle development
  • Higher daily energy levels

The result is a body that not only looks stronger, but performs better too.

What is MetCon?

The conditioning workouts inside Construct use a style of training known as metabolic conditioning.

Metabolic conditioning combines resistance training with carefully structured work and recovery intervals to challenge both your aerobic and anaerobic energy systems. Light to moderate weights are used for resistance to allow for a faster pace through a series of compound movements. In simple terms, you'll move through purposeful sequences of exercises that elevate your heart rate while still building strength and muscular endurance. These aren't random high-intensity workouts designed to leave you exhausted.

Every workout is programmed with intention. Exercise selection, work periods, recovery intervals, and overall intensity are carefully balanced to create challenging sessions that remain sustainable throughout the program.

You'll work hard, but you'll also recover well enough to keep progressing week after week.

Strength that supports everything else

The two weekly strength workouts are the foundation of the program. These sessions use progressive resistance training to help you:

  • Build lean muscle
  • Increase strength
  • Improve stability and control
  • Support healthy joints
  • Develop better movement mechanics

Upper and lower body days allow you to give each muscle group the attention it deserves while still leaving enough recovery time between sessions. Whether you're newer to strength training or have years of experience, the focus remains the same: quality movement, consistent progression, and long-term results.

More variety. Better results.

One of the biggest reasons people stop making progress is doing the exact same type of workout over and over again. Your body adapts incredibly well, which means eventually the same routine produces fewer results. Construct avoids that plateau by blending different training styles throughout the week. Some workouts emphasize controlled strength, while others increase intensity through circuits, timed intervals, and compound movement patterns. This strategic variety keeps training engaging while continually challenging your body in new ways without feeling random or overwhelming. Every workout builds on the last while introducing enough variation to keep progress moving forward.

Who Is Construct for?

Construct is ideal if you want to:

  • Build strength without spending hours lifting weights.
  • Improve your cardiovascular fitness without endless cardio sessions.
  • Burn more calories while preserving lean muscle.
  • Increase your overall fitness in a balanced, sustainable way.
  • Train consistently with a realistic four-day schedule.
  • Follow a professionally structured program instead of trying to piece workouts together yourself.

Whether your goal is improving body composition, increasing fitness, or simply feeling stronger in everyday life, CONSTRUCT provides a clear roadmap to get there.

Minimal equipment. Maximum efficiency.

One of the best things about Construct is its simplicity. This program requires just dumbbells and a resistance band, making it perfect for training at home without needing a full gym. It focuses on movement quality, smart programming, and effective exercise selection rather than complicated equipment. That means less time setting up and more time actually training.
